How to choose an Aion 2 character name
RandomX.AI’s Aion 2 Name Generator is a free AI tool for creating Elyos and Asmodian character names. Each request returns 8 suggestions with a meaning and explanation. You can ask for a short English fantasy name, a Chinese character name, or another supported output language without creating an account.
Generate and save your shortlist in three steps
- Choose a faction, class, style, length preference and output language. “Any” leaves room for the AI to explore; the language selector controls the generated names as well as their explanations.
- Add a brief in the creative requirements field, such as “short English Asmodian assassin names with a cold, quiet tone; no numbers.” Generate a batch and compare the names with their meanings.
- Copy one name, copy all 8 as plain text, or download a TXT shortlist. JSON export also includes meanings and explanations. Keep alternatives until the game accepts an available name.
Elyos and Asmodian: creative direction, not a naming rule
For Elyos, try flowing sounds and imagery of dawn, wings or light. For Asmodian, try a firmer rhythm and imagery of night, frost or shadow. These are creative prompts used by this tool, not official requirements or a claim that one faction must use a particular alphabet.
Class and style can pull in different directions. An Asmodian cleric can have a gentle name, while an Elyos gladiator can sound forceful. Put the character’s personality in the brief when faction alone is too broad.
Name ideas for the generator’s 8 class options
These curated pairs give you a starting point before an AI request. Use the first column for a lighter sound and the second for a darker sound, or mix either with your preferred faction. They are original examples, not official characters or reserved names.
| Class option | Elyos-inspired idea | Asmodian-inspired idea |
|---|---|---|
| Gladiator | Caelor | Varkor |
| Templar | Aerion | Dravok |
| Assassin | Lyriel | Zevrik |
| Ranger | Sylven | Kryven |
| Sorcerer | Aethis | Nyxara |
| Spiritmaster | Lumira | Morvek |
| Cleric | Seriel | Voryn |
| Chanter | Elian | Zariel |
What to do when your first choice is taken
Save two or three names with different endings instead of relying on one spelling. For example, if Aerion is taken, ask the AI for names with the same airy mood but a different ending. Describe the qualities you want to keep in the creative requirements field; a new request generates a fresh batch.
Say a candidate aloud and imagine a teammate calling it in voice chat. Keep spelling readable and avoid decorative characters when you are unsure of the rules. A shorter name is often easier to remember, but the game decides whether a name is valid.
Naming limits and official sources
The tool’s 2–6, 7–9 and 10–12 character settings are creative preferences, not a promise that every region accepts those lengths. RandomX does not check availability, reserve names, or connect to your game account.
NCSOFT’s 16 October 2025 Korean server and character-name reservation announcement described 1–12 Korean, English or numeric characters and uniqueness within a server. That historical reservation notice does not establish the current rules for every region or release. Always check the current regional game client before using a name.
